Job summary

Airgas in Fort Collins, CO is hiring an Account Development Manager to grow and service existing customers within the territory. This entry-level role focuses on managed services, territory expansion, and meeting corporate objectives for profitable sales growth.

The ADM will develop sales plans, quote pricing, and establish credit terms while maintaining strong customer relationships in a consultative manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; in lieu of degree, up to 4 years related experience accepted.
• Knowledge of customer segmentation and prioritization of high-value customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sales process and drive profitable sales growth within the assigned territory for existing Airgas customers.
• Develop and execute sales plans to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts.
• Maintain and submit sales reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly/annual territory analyses).
• Actively review and manage existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to minimize working capital and risk.
• Proactively leverage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) to identify expanded opportunities and increase wallet share.
