Job summary

Novartis seeks an Associate Director, Access & Reimbursement (ADAR) to educate defined accounts in Colorado on access and reimbursement topics. The role is field-based and may include in-person or virtual engagements with account executives to integrate programs into workflows.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in communicating payer requirements and addressing barriers to coverage.
• Experience with local payer policies, multi-channel acquisition pathways, and reimbursement workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with integrity and within compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Interact with large, complex accounts to support patient access and educate providers and staff on programs.
• Address questions related to NPC policies on product ordering, payment, inventory, and returns.
• Maintain understanding of NPC policies and ensure HIPAA compliance and company guidance.
• Identify and report adverse events as per Novartis systems.
• Collaborate with executives, providers, billing staff, and revenue cycle teams to support access.
• Analyze reimbursement issues and trends to support access at local, regional, and national levels.
• Communicate policy changes to relevant departments and support pull-through on local coverage decisions.
• Inform customers about NPC-sponsored patient support programs (e.g., Co-pay).
• Maintain expertise in regional access landscape and act as reimbursement expert for aligned products.
• Interface with hub and NPC teams on patient case management and education.
• Share insights with cross-functional teams to address access barriers.
