The University of California, Berkeley seeks an Academic HR Analyst 3 to manage non-senate and senate faculty processes within EECS. You will counsel on academic employee policies, coordinate nominations, and handle AP data in UCPath.

This role requires sharp analysis, discretion, and strong written communication. Work with the EECS AP Team to support recruitment, faculty awards, and academic personnel projects, while ensuring compliance with campus policies and labor agreements.

Formación

• Thorough knowledge of campus policies, union contracts, procedures, and practices that govern academic HR administration.
• Ability to counsel non-senate faculty on academic employee and labor policies, procedures, salary administration, and appropriate practices.
• Advanced writing and editing skills to draft persuasive assessments for faculty advancements and award nominations.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with faculty and staff, as well as external constituents, both verbally and in writing.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accomplish work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate/manages academic review processes, identifying issues relating to policy and advancement for non-senate faculty in the EE Division.
• Draft department recommendations for non-senate faculty appointment and advancement cases with analysis of research, teaching and service.
• Onboard non-senate faculty and initiate misconduct disclosure review process.
• Initiate job data, paypath, and position transactions in UCPath; coordinate payroll needs with ERSO.
• Coordinate with EECS AP Team on recruitment, faculty searches, and related visits and interviews.
• Assist with data collection and analysis for special projects and maintain AP systems (APBears, APRecruit, UCPath).
