Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a high-performing National Account Manager to drive strategic growth by managing key national accounts, achieving ambitious sales and gross margin goals, and identifying new business opportunities. This role mainly supports 3PL customers and involves significant travel.

The position reports to the Director of Business Development and partners with the Business Development team to expand market presence across the Western and Central United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in logistics or related industry.
• 3PL experience strongly preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and results driven.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cold call outreach and prospecting with follow-up daily.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and leads.
• Deliver presentations with research to highlight benefits.
• Travel up to 12 days/month across territories in US/Canada.
• Negotiate major contracts and assemble tender packages.
• Monitor market changes and competitive activity.
• Recommend cost-saving and process-improvement ideas.
• Manage roughly $10–$15 million annual gross revenue.
