Job summary

Verizon in the United States is seeking a proactive Senior Logistics Manager to drive performance across a complex 3PL network. You will own a segment of distribution, partner with site leadership, and align internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, world-class execution.

This hybrid role requires 4+ years in supply chain or logistics, expertise in contracts and SLAs, and a track record of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or vendor management.
• Experience managing performance, contracts, or relationships with 3PLs or major suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with 3PL site leadership across multiple large distribution centers to drive operational success and service level compliance.
• Lead Monthly Performance Scorecards and Quarterly Business Reviews to maintain accountability.
• Oversee 3PL contractual performance, track logistics costs and enforce SLA penalties and incentives.
• Act as primary liaison for internal stakeholders (Inventory Planning, Sales, Product Marketing) and translate 3PL performance into actionable strategies.
• Initiate and track large-scale continuous improvement projects to optimize customer experience, capacity utilization, and network expense.
• Strategically manage reverse logistics pipeline with 3PL partners to maximize value recovery.
• Design and implement long-term corrective actions with 3PL partners to resolve root causes of issues.
• Oversee efficient utilization of space and material.
