Job summary

Verizon is seeking a results-driven senior logistics professional to own a segment of our 3PL network performance. You will drive accountability with 3PL site leadership and align internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, world-class execution.

The role is hybrid, with a mix of remote work and in-office days, reporting to the Logistics team. You will manage performance, contracts, and relationships with 3PLs while leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or vendor management.
• Experience managing performance, contracts, or relationships with 3PLs or major suppliers.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAP and understanding of WMS capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with 3PL site leadership across multiple distribution centers to drive operational success.
• Lead Monthly Performance Scorecards and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Oversee 3PL contractual performance, track logistics costs, and enforce SLA penalties.
• Translate 3PL performance into actionable strategies with internal stakeholders.
• Initiate and track large-scale continuous improvement projects to optimize customer experience.
• Manage reverse logistics pipeline with 3PLs to maximize recovery value.
• Design long-term corrective actions with 3PL partners.
• Oversee efficient utilization of space and material.
