Segment Manager-Consumer Industries USA

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will develop, implement, and manage the account strategy focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate sales activities, monitor projects, and resolve specific customer problems. You will provide input on market price developments and trends. The work model is: LI# - REMOTE. This role contributes to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Division across the USA, serving internal and external customers. Main responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
  2. Understanding key business drivers and risks, translating them into impacts and opportunities for ABB.
  3. Participating in sales strategy development with current and long-term plans.
  4. Defining sales targets, monitoring competitors, and ensuring response strategies are in place.
Qualifications for the role
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in sales
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years selling industrial automation products
  • Experience in Portfolio Management, Business & Go-to-market Strategy, Market Intelligence, Customer Experience, Regulation & Legal Compliance, Pricing
  • Senior sales experience with major logistics and consumer goods organizations (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, Walmart)
  • No sponsorship or relocation available
