Job Description
As a Strategic Account Manager for our Fiberon brand, you will lead sales strategies for key national and regional accounts in the R&R and pro-retail segments. Your focus will be on building customer partnerships and aligning internal resources to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Location: This is a remote position managing a national territory. Preferred locations include California, Texas, Florida, or the Mid-Atlantic Region. Up to 50% overnight travel is expected.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and execute annual business plans for strategic accounts, focusing on short- and long-term growth
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement effective in-home selling strategies and category growth plans
- Support and expand our dealer network, understanding distribution channels and dealer connectivity
- Serve as the main contact for assigned accounts, coordinating sales activities and maintaining communication
- Analyze customer needs to recommend solutions that increase sales, profitability, and reduce costs
- Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions, aligning with market managers and regional sales leaders
- Forecast demand and ensure accurate sales reporting for strategic decisions
- Develop customer-specific programs, promotions, and training to meet account goals
- Represent the brand at trade shows and national events
- Execute strategies to increase market share and improve product mix within accounts
- Collaborate internally to streamline communication and ensure excellent service
- Gather market intelligence on pricing, trends, and competitors to inform strategies
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:- 5+ years of proven sales, marketing, or sales management experience with national retailers (e.g., BFS, Lansing, ABC Supply)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal skills for positive relationship management
- Ability to analyze market conditions and develop strategic responses
- Strong understanding of Marketing, Finance, and Operations
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with flexibility
Nice To Have- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Experience in Consumer/Durable Goods industry, preferably Building Materials
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Self-management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Market and client opportunity anticipation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter and motivated worker independently
Additional InformationThe estimated base salary range is
$93,000 - $130,000 USD. Actual salaries vary based on education, experience, achievement, business needs, and location. Employees are eligible for bonuses or sales incentives.
