Chesterfield County Environmental Engineering is seeking a staff member to maintain county stormwater facilities, including ditch cleaning, tree removal, and vegetation management. The role requires knowledge of drainage maintenance and operation of equipment such as hydroseeders and chippers.

Pre-employment checks and a GED or high school diploma are required. The position is at the Environmental Engineering work location with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Knowledge of drainage maintenance operations and equipment usage.
• Pre-employment drug testing, FBI background check and education verification required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain county stormwater facilities including ditch cleaning and tree removal.
• Perform grass and brush cutting in drainage easements and other duties as required.
• Participate in a CDP and possible salary incentives based on performance and funding.
