Chesterfield County Environmental Engineering is seeking candidates for a maintenance-focused role supporting county stormwater facilities. Responsibilities include ditch cleaning, downed tree removal, and grass and brush cutting in drainage easements, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to operate common maintenance equipment.
High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Knowledge of drainage maintenance operations and equipment usage/operation to include hydroseeder, brush chipper, chain saw, tamper, weed trimmer, and hand tools. Ability to swim preferred.
Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
Maintenance of county stormwater facilities including ditch cleaning, downed tree removal, grass and brush cutting in county maintained drainage easements. Perform other work as required.
