Job summary

Chesterfield County Environmental Engineering seeks a team leader for maintenance of storm water facilities and infrastructure. You will supervise crews performing ditch cleaning, tree removal, and grass or brush cutting in drainage easements, ensuring safety and documentation of daily work.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with two years of drainage facilities experience, plus knowledge of safety and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of drainage facilities construction/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of drainage maintenance operations, construction safety, and equipment usage as listed.
• Strong ability to lead teams and ensure safety during daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of 2–7 members performing maintenance on storm water facilities and infrastructure.
• Perform ditch cleaning, downed tree removal, and grass/brush cutting in drainage easements.
• Maintain written records of work performed and ensure safe completion of tasks.
