Strategic Government Resources, Inc. in Sarasota County seeks an Engineer to support stormwater management, watershed planning, and development review.

You will evaluate site plans, prepare comments, and assist with model updates, working with county engineers and external partners to ensure compliance with UDC and stormwater requirements. The role covers site development review, planning application reviews, building permit reviews, and watershed modeling activities, with a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with required experience.
• EI certification by the Florida Board of Engineers at time of hire.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Responsabilités

• Review site development permits and county projects for compliance with UDC and watershed models.
• Prepare written comments and coordinate resolutions with engineers of record.
• Review earth-moving permits, plats, and maintain plan files and models.
• Update watershed models and provide stormwater modeling support for projects.
