Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a skilled Climber to prune, trim, and remove trees. Work includes load/unload, equipment inspection, and storm restoration support with strict safety practices. Candidates should have climbing experience, ability to work at heights, and knowledge of rope, knots and rigging.

Compensation includes full-time field work, health insurance and 401K options; background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate working knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging.
• Able to climb and descend trees with rope and safety saddle.
• Capable of emergency tree rescue and first aid procedures.
• Familiar with electrical hazards and aloft safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Climb, prune, and remove trees according to Foreperson directions.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Inspect tools and equipment for proper working condition.
• Enforce safe practices and protect workers and the public from hazards.
• Perform storm restoration duties as needed.
