Target is offering a Stores Executive Intern program designed to give hands-on leadership experience in a retail environment. The paid internship provides mentorship from an Executive Team Leader and exposure across store operations, guest service, merchandising, and team development.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail is preferred
• Strong interest in working in retail management
• Leadership skills and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the sales floor and backroom leading team members
• Lead daily priorities and partner with ETL mentor
• Lead through daily priorities, stock shelves and create engaging displays
• Provide performance feedback and coach team members
• Address concerns to ensure smooth operations and goal attainment
• Lead daily huddles and present priorities to peers
• Set goals and organize plans within the building
• Review business reports and guest insights to identify opportunities
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by empowering staff
• Participate in internship training activities and development events
