Job summary

Build‑A‑Bear in Riverside, CA is seeking a Full-Time Store Manager at our Walmart location. You will oversee the workshop, coach AWMs and Bear Builders, manage payroll, scheduling, and inventory to drive sales and an exceptional Guest experience.

Lead the team, enforce policies, hire and promote staff, and ensure brand standards are followed. This role requires 2+ years of retail leadership, a high school diploma, and willingness to work flexible retail hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks with the AWM.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from the AWM.
• Lead shifts, enforce policies, and escalate violations as needed with HR/District support.
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards and create an inviting environment.
• Oversee inventory management including receiving, stocking, and counts.
