Job summary

J.Crew Factory in New York, NY is seeking a Workforce Planning & Operations Manager for Stores to own the store payroll cycle, forecast hours, and manage labor costs. You’ll partner with FP&A and store leaders to align staffing with sales and workload.

You will build and maintain the labor model, oversee scheduling under Fair Workweek regulations, and deliver KPI reporting and ad-hoc analyses to optimize profitability across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retail workforce management or store operations.
• Experience owning or managing a payroll/labor budget, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with workforce management platforms and BI tools (e.g., Dayforce, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Own the full store payroll cycle, including budgets, forecasts and monthly variance analysis.
• Build and maintain the store labor model and staffing tiers by format and volume.
• Ensure scheduling practices comply with predictive scheduling and Fair Workweek laws.
• Deliver reporting on labor KPIs and perform ad-hoc analyses across the fleet.
