J.Crew Factory Distribution Analyst position located in New York, NY is focused on forecasting, allocation, and inventory optimization. The role involves data analysis to influence department-level plans and ensure in-season stock is balanced across stores and DCs.

You will support packing strategies, price initiatives, and receipts accuracy while collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive in-stock and payroll efficiency. A Bachelor's degree and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn technical applications quickly.
• Ability to translate data into actionable information to drive results; proficiency in retail math.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide data and recommendations to influence department/class level plans.
• Assist in development of department/class level allocation strategies.
• Develop and execute strategies for packing, pre-packs, size balancing and inventory balancing.
• Plan in-season management of department/class level plans including ongoing assessments and updates; execute initial inventory releases.
• Forecast inbound/outbound inventory to drive in-stock and to manage DC/store payroll.
• Execute in-season price strategies, store level exceptions, and new store allocations.
• Execute allocation and replenishment of Basics managed through demand forecasting and management tools.
