Job summary

J.Crew Group in New York is seeking a Financial Planning - Forecasting professional to influence department plans and optimize allocation strategies. This role focuses on data-driven forecasting, inventory balancing, and in-season management to support retail operations.

You will develop forecasting and allocation strategies, support IPM processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve in-stock levels and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficient with Excel and quick to learn technical applications.
• Translate data into actionable insights using retail math.
• Build constructive relationships with diverse partners.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide data and recommendations to influence department/class level plans.
• Assist in development of department/class level allocation strategies.
• Develop and execute packing, pre-packs, size balancing and inventory balancing.
• Support in-season management of department/class level plans with updates.
• Execute initial inventory releases and ensure receipt accuracy for in-season allocations.
• Forecast inbound/outbound inventory to drive in-stock and manage payroll.
• Execute in-season price strategies and store-level allocations.
• Execute allocation and replenishment for Basics via forecasting tools.
