Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Store Visual Merchandiser to design and implement visually engaging displays that enhance the shopping experience across our stores. You will work under Visual Leadership to present merchandise, optimize layouts, and refresh seasonal product showcases.

The role requires 2 years of retail visual merchandising experience, preferably in home furnishings, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in retail store visual merchandising.
• Prefer experience in home furnishings.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs and move loads up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implement a visual merchandising strategy aligned with sales objectives.
• Create visually appealing displays and coordinate layouts for furniture, lighting, and accessories.
• Remerchandise displays, signage, POS, and areas to maximize product sell-through.
• Complete routine recovery and maintain interior/exterior appearance with teams.
• Coordinate tagging, showroom placement, and bi-annual inventory tasks.
• Adhere to visual standards and ensure AV elements comply with standards.
• Develop knowledge of products, promotions, and store functions.
• Mentor staff on merchandising basics and visual standards.
• Coordinate with store manager on tasks, visual needs, and incoming products.
