Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Westlake Village, CA, seeks a Store Trainer to foster engagement, productivity, and retention by organizing and delivering New Member training across the store. You’ll manage New Member Connections, Retail Ops training, and Learning Pathways, while coordinating with Team Trainers.

You will ensure timely completion of training, maintain accurate records, proctor certifications, and mentor Trainers and Team Members.

Qualifications

• Ability to facilitate and speak to groups of varying sizes.
• Ability to train through demonstration and feedback.
• Coach and motivate performance in a constructive manner.
• Self-motivated, driven, and solution-oriented.
• Influence without direct authority.
• General computer skills (MS Office).
• Familiar with learning systems (Cornerstone OnDemand/Inkling).
• Maintains State Food Safety Proctor certification when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate New Member training with Store Leadership and Team Trainers.
• Welcomes New Members and completes Form I-9 on hire date.
• Deliver and organize training through New Member Connections and Learning Pathways.
• Maintain accurate training records and communicate progress to leadership.
• Strive for 95% on-time completion of training and compliance.
• Mentor Team Members and Team Trainers to reach full potential.
• Be a role model for food safety, sanitation, and equipment handling.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and reinforce service standards.
