Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Jericho, NY is seeking a Store Trainer to foster engagement, productivity, and retention of New Members by organizing and delivering quality training across the store.

The role involves coordinating with leadership, delivering New Member Connections, tracking training records, and ensuring 95% on-time completion, with scope across Certifications and Team Trainer pathways.

Qualifications

• 12 months of Whole Foods Market experience.
• Recommend at least 6 months experience as Team Trainer (or equivalent retail training or leadership experience).
• Familiarity with store operations and training coordination.
• Ability to train across departments and provide on-the-job coaching.
• Certified Food Manager and Alcohol Server Proctor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules New Member training during the first four shifts.
• Welcomes New Members on hire date and completes Form I-9 Section 2.
• Organizes and delivers New Member Connections program components (Welcome Tour, Culture Connections, Career Connections).
• Maintains training records using learning systems and reports progress to leadership.
• Ensures 95% on-time completion of New Member Connections and training pathways.
• Cross-trains in all departments to support operations and cover holidays or vacancies.
