Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring for a store associate at our Grandville, MI location. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You will engage customers in the Rewards program and support omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS. Responsibilities include assisting with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms, maintaining in-stock conditions, and supporting safety and shrink programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking Merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
