Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team in delivering exceptional customer service and store performance. You will be responsible for coaching staff, executing selling strategies, and maintaining store standards across operations and inventory processes.

In this role, you’ll manage scheduling, training, and performance, while ensuring a welcoming environment for customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty to address scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer discipline with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and uphold brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including covering peaks when needed.
• Drive selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain store appearance, signage, and cleanliness.
• Manage cash operations, including opening/closing tills and bank deposits.
• Oversee inventory, pricing changes, and product counts.
