Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store (meat, bakery, produce, deli) and customer service experience are helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise day-to-day store operations across departments.
• Staffing, hiring, and training to meet staffing needs.
• Promote the Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings and interactions.
• Oversee P&L and shrink management for the department.
• Mentor team members and SDITs to meet sales and service goals.
• Ensure training is completed and standards are upheld.
