Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in different store areas help build cross-functional knowledge.
• Strong communication to provide clear direction to team members.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and drive sales.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members across organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across store departments and coach staff.
• Staffing, selection, and hiring to meet needs.
• Promote career development and succession planning.
• Document disciplinary actions and make recommendations on terminations.
• Manage P&L, sales targets, and shrinkage for the department.
• Model fast, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Communicate the Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings.
• Ensure staff are trained and able to deliver top service.
• Maintain safe work environment and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
