Family Farm and Home is seeking a Team Leader to learn and uphold the company culture while coaching associates and supporting the store manager. The role emphasizes merchandising, inventory control, expense management, and creating a positive store environment.

You will lead operations, promote a strong sales culture, and engage with customers and local groups to support community initiatives, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Leadership and problem solving skills to motivate and supervise team members.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities for interactions with customers and associates.
• Team oriented with the ability to collaborate across store functions.
• Good management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (lift/move up to 50 lbs).
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
• Assist store manager in promoting an aggressive sales culture with a focus on customer service.
• Maintain professional store morale and standards.
• Support the store manager in executing duties through associates or self.
• Schedule and assign employees; monitor work results and store operations.
• Identify current and future customer requirements and build relationships with customers and community groups.
• Solicit customers to sign up for FFH programs (loyalty, warranties, financing).
• Protect inventory and store assets; ensure safe, clean store environment.
• Assist in marketing strategy decisions by reviewing financial statements and sales records.
• Enforce operational and personnel policies to maintain consistent store operations.
• All other duties as assigned by store manager or company official.
