Follett Higher Education is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support Market Leaders or Campus Store Managers in overseeing store operations and driving sales growth. You will mentor team members while monitoring financial metrics and ensuring an engaging customer experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
• 0–5 years of retail or bookstore experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sales team members and schedule hours.
• Train new team members and seasonal staff.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
• Maintain merchandising standards and displays.
• Greet customers, answer phones, and resolve escalated issues.
• Handle cash, deposits, and end-of-day reporting.
• Stock shelves and take inventory.
• Provide coverage during breaks and peak seasons.
• Open/close responsibilities as keyholder.
