You will oversee scheduling, training, merchandising, and cash handling, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This on-site role requires flexibility to cover peak periods and maintain a high-performance team culture.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• 0-5 years of retail or bookstore experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• General Computer Skills

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work activities of sales team members FT/PT and Temporary.
• Schedules team members' work hours.
• Trains new team members FT/PT and seasonal staff.
• Ensures policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
• Maintains merchandising and display standards.
• Onboards new hires.
• Greet customers, answer phones, resolve escalated issues, and support a hassle-free customer experience.
• Receives, verifies, and unloads orders; handles cash operations and deposits.
• Stocks shelves and conducts inventory per store schedule.
• May cover breaks or peak periods across departments.
• Performs opening/closing responsibilities as a keyholder.
• Prepares end-of-month reports and handles basic accounts receivable tasks.
