Job summary

The Store Team Leader at Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana supports the Store Leader and management team to achieve annual objectives, guiding staff, handling customers, and upholding policies. Located on the northwest side of Indianapolis, this full-time role pays $16/hour with benefits including health plan, PTO, and daily pay options.

Responsibilities span staff development, daily operations, and financial stewardship, with a focus on service, efficiency, and living the Goodwill mission.

Qualifications

• Degree not required; candidates with capability considered.
• Oversees work of others in a service-related industry.
• Coaching to provide guidance and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication with customers and staff to understand needs.
• Customer-focused service to internal and external customers.
• Familiarity with basic computers and Internet navigation.
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving goals.
• Use of judgment and critical thinking to solve problems.
• Adheres to procedures and company values.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and training to hourly employees.
• Participate in hourly associate recruitment (pre-screening/interviews).
• Identify opportunities for staff development.
• Complete day-to-day store operations and seek efficiency improvements.
• Represent Goodwill’s Mission, Vision, and Values to customers.
• Track sales, production goals, and donations.
