Responsibilities

• Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
• Assist store manager in promoting an aggressive sales culture with superior customer service.
• Maintain professionalism and positive store morale.
• Assist in executing store responsibilities through associates and/or own actions.
• Complete store operations by scheduling and assigning employees; follow up on results.
• Identify customer requirements by establishing rapport with customers.
• Establish relationships and support local community groups fitting company values.
• Solicit customers to sign up for programs (loyalty, warranties, financing, item of the month).
• Manage and protect inventory and assets per policy against theft and damage.
• Verify merchandise is received, stored and merchandised per procedures.
• Protect staff and customers by ensuring a safe, clean store and compliance with laws.
• Assist in determining marketing strategy changes by reviewing financials and sales records.
• Assist in maintaining consistent operations by enforcing policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned by store manager or company official.
