Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Germantown, WI is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience.

You will oversee front-end operations, coaching teams to meet brand standards and KPIs while ensuring smooth daily execution. Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS systems, loyalty program growth, omni-channel support (BOPIS/Same Day Delivery), and staff development through structured onboarding

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Experience coaching teams to meet sales and service KPIs.
Ability to manage front-end operations and daily store activities.

Responsibilities

Lead store operations and ensure SOPs and policies are followed.
Coach team to deliver customer experience and selling behaviors.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
Oversee POS and Self-Checkout for smooth transactions.
Drive omni-channel fulfillment like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
Support loyalty program enrollment and protection plan adoption.
Develop and coach staff through onboarding and ongoing training.
Maintain asset protection practices and shrink reduction.
