Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin, Inc. in Madison, WI, seeks a Store Supervisor (Hourly) to lead daily operations across multiple locations.

You will coach staff, ensure strong customer service, manage donations, production, and store flow, and help meet revenue goals while upholding our mission.

This full-time, onsite role requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year of retail experience, plus willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Assists with training employees and supervises daily workflow of donations, production and store.
• Provides coaching to assist with discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Delivers best-in-class service by greeting and assisting customers and coaching staff to do the same.
• Monitors customer service and sales staff productivity while operating a register and managing cash controls.
• Ensures efficient production flow and staff productivity, maximizing product output and donation value.
• Maintains a fresh, full store with continuous product flow per merchandising guidelines.
• Trains staff with ongoing coaching and follow-ups.
• Projects a positive image of Goodwill in words and actions to customers.
• Follows safety and asset protection standards and reports concerns to management.
