Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Greenville, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team during shifts, ensuring high service standards for retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification are required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification are desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours (lunch, late afternoon, evenings, weekends).
• Assist the store manager in hiring by recruiting, scheduling and interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Assist in managing store operations during the Store Manager’s absence and during opposing shifts.
• Ensure proper handling of returns, exchanges, and invoicing, and maintain policy adherence by team members.
