Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This role will manage the store during the Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts.

The Assistant Manager will lead the store team in servicing customers and will assist in hiring, scheduling, coaching and training to ensure team members stay current on certification requirements and company programs.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales, customer service and assistant manager training and RSS certification.
• Desirable: bilingual ability (Spanish) and relevant automotive parts certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure staff follow programs.
• Assist in staffing, hiring, interviewing and training to ensure qualified team members.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and daily store operations.
• Ensure transfers, returns, invoicing and shipments are processed accurately and timely.
