Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Delaware & Delaware County, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead to oversee daily store operations, ensure safety and front/back room oversight, and support sales, production, and customer service as part of the Management Support Team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and/or training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a diverse population.
• Ability to learn new technical skills and operate store systems.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all organization policies and procedures.
• Follows safety policies and procedures ensuring security and protection of customers, team members, and assets.
• Engages with customers and community groups to promote the company mission and resolve issues.
• Assists in opening/closing the store and serves as manager on duty as directed.
• Performs POS transactions, cash handling, deposits, and cash control.
• Trains and develops retail team members to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly store environment.
• Provides regular updates to management on progress and issues.
