Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
0–5 years of retail or bookstore experience preferred.
General computer skills required.

Responsibilities

Supervises sales team members (FT/PT and temporary) and schedules hours.
Trains new team members, including peak-season hires.
Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintains merchandising and promotion standards and creates displays.
Onboards new hires.
Greets customers, answers phones, resolves escalated issues, and upholds a hassle-free service culture.
Receives, verifies, and unloads orders.
Operates cash register and store computer; handles deposits.
Stocks shelves and conducts inventory per store schedule.
Supports general store cleaning and shelf/display upkeep.
Executes merchandising and display standards; supports peak-season staffing.
Acts as keyholder with opening/closing responsibilities.
Assists with end-of-month reporting and cash reconciliation.
Supports shrink-prevention activities and guest service.
Performs other duties as assigned.
