Gap Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Baton Rouge area store. You will set the tone for the team, drive profitable sales, and coach Leaders and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

You will collaborate with store leadership to execute strategies, recruit and train staff, and ensure consistent operations. A passion for retail, strong communication, and flexibility are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability through customer-centric strategies.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and execute action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOP compliance.
• Represent the Gap brand and stay aware of retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and leverage omni‑channel for a frictionless experience.
