Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to lead with energy, ownership, and purpose, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and keeping the store running strong day in and day out.

ASMs are hands-on leaders who stay connected to customers and teammates, set the floor tone with an “Always on, Never no” mindset, and take ownership of store execution to deliver a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the sales floor with energy and solutions to every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and closing the loop with customers.
• Open/close duties and cashier responsibilities to run store operations smoothly.
• Leverage retail technology to enhance customer experience and operations.
