Lidl US is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Pelham, NY to support the Store Manager in developing and coaching the store team. You will help deliver Lidl’s high-quality, low-price, hassle-free shopping experience and lead operations to meet targets.

You’ll balance customer service excellence with hands-on store duties, including inventory, merchandising, and safety compliance. This role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to employee development.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of management experience or a bachelor’s degree
• Determination to complete every to-do list on time and hit store targets
• Experience leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills including de-escalation abilities
• Willingness to participate in physical store operations daily (stocking, cleaning, ringing)
• Ability to lift/carry slides over 50 pounds and reach above head

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to reach full potential daily
• Provide excellent customer service and be the main contact for customer needs
• Monitor and drive improvement of store KPIs
• Lead projects like weekly promotions and re-merchandising
• Provide hands-on support for cash management, stock, cleaning, and other store tasks
• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive work environment in line with policies
