Lidl US is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in developing and coaching the store team while delivering Lidl’s renowned low-price, high-quality shopping experience. The role emphasizes proactive leadership, cross-functional tasks, and a hands-on approach to daily store operations.

Responsibilities include motivating staff, ensuring excellent customer service, driving KPIs, leading promotions, and handling essential store tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience or a bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven customer service skills and ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to participate in physical store operations and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to perform at their best.
• Serve as the main customer contact to ensure a high-quality shopping experience.
• Monitor and drive improvements in store KPIs and store operations.
• Oversee promotional merchandising and routine re-merchandising tasks.
• Provide hands-on support for cash handling, stock management, cleaning, and safety.
• Maintain a safe, productive work environment per policy and procedure.
