Job summary

Lidl US in New York is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager, coach the store team, and ensure our customers enjoy Lidl’s renowned shopping experience.

You will lead by example in daily operations, drive KPIs, manage tasks, and develop team capability while upholding safety and efficiency. This full-time role offers strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 1-2 years of management experience OR a bachelor’s degree
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Readiness to participate in physical store operations daily
• Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to perform at full potential each day
• Provide excellent customer service and be the primary contact for customer needs
• Monitor and drive improvements of store KPIs
• Lead weekly promotional store sets and re-merchandising projects
• Provide hands-on support for cash management, stock, cleaning, and other store tasks
• Ensure a safe, positive, productive work environment compliant with policies and laws
