Job summary

Lidl US in the United States seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in coaching the store team and delivering Lidl’s high-quality, low-price shopping experience. The role emphasizes leadership, operational execution, and customer-first service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work directly with the Store Manager, motivate staff, and help drive store performance while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1–2 years of management experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry over 50 pounds.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to reach their full potential every day.
• Provide excellent customer service and be the main point of contact for customers.
• Monitor and drive continuous improvement of store KPIs.
• Lead weekly promotional store sets and routine re-merchandising.
• Support cash management, working stock, cleaning and other essential store tasks.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive working environment based on policies and procedures.
