Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandise flow, stocking, and maintaining seasonal areas while following corporate directives and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and a customer-first approach in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a part-time, on-site position located in Moline, IL, offering opportunities to grow within the store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor merchandising and seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas clean, stocked, and presentable; secure assets.
