Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development across a high-traffic retail location. You will assist with daily activities, merchandising, loss prevention, and ensuring a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role includes supervising associates, training staff, and maintaining promotional displays, with a focus on excellent service and efficient store performance. Part-time engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment is valuable.
• Ability to lift and perform physical store tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas, fixtures, and displays per company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and cash handling.
• Supervise and train store associates, ensuring a safe, respectful environment.
