Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, supervise associates, organize merchandise, and ensure safety and policy compliance.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to train staff, and a customer-focused, energetic work environment. This position is part-time in a retail setting; candidates should be prepared for physical tasks and flexible scheduling to cover

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Retail store management experience preferred.
Lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers and address questions or concerns they may have.
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Process corporate directives related to store activities.
Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention duties.
Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
Protect and secure all store assets including store cash.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
