Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Dolton, IL to support store operations and customer service. You will assist with daily store functions, organize merchandise, and help supervise and train store associates in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling tasks, loss prevention, and maintaining clean, well-stocked areas. This role offers growth in a store team with emphasis on safety and excellent service.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized store areas to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure policies and safety guidelines are followed by associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
