Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store are helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information for decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in daily store operations.
• Mentors and coaches team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes career paths and development, involved in promotion decisions.
• Maintains P&L, achieves sales and controls shrink for the department.
• Models exceptional, fast, friendly customer service.
• Ensures team is trained and maintains Meijer standards.
