Job summary

Meijer is seeking an experienced retail leader to plan, direct, and supervise store operations across departments. You will mentor team members, manage staffing and hiring, and drive sales while controlling shrink and maintaining Meijer standards for store presentation.

You will lead by example, ensuring exceptional customer service, training completion, and adherence to safety and scheduling requirements, with a focus on prime shopping hours.

Qualifications

• Leads store operations and teams to deliver customer service and sales goals.
• Manages staffing, hiring decisions, and staff development to meet business needs.
• Analyzes financial and sales data to drive performance and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes career paths and development; involved in promotions decisions.
• Documents disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentors and coaches team to exceed service and sales goals.
• Ensures training completion and maintains brand standards.
