Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Store Systems Analyst to lead deployment and support of store technology initiatives across California locations. The role focuses on project delivery, coordinating with Store Operations, IT, and vendors, and ensuring smooth transitions to operational support.

The position involves managing deployments for POS, SCO, electronic payments, digital signage, and department systems, documenting outcomes, and ensuring changes follow validation practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting retail POS systems and store technologies.
• Experience planning and executing initiatives with milestones and dependencies.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working with vendors, case management, and validating fixes.
• Experience with pilots/phased rollouts and rollout playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives from intake to closeout with requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain work plans with milestones and owners.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution with Store Operations, Vendors, IT, Continuous Improvement, and Store Leadership.
• Maintain deployment docs and checklists for repeatable execution.
• Execute store technology deployments including POS, SCO, payments, signage, and kiosks.
• Coordinate vendor software updates and rollback considerations.
• Document test results and support go/no-go decisions with evidence.
