Job summary

Five Below in Deptford Township is seeking a store leadership associate to supervise crew, ensure fast, friendly checkouts, and drive sales. You will help onboard and train staff while maintaining merchandising standards and excellent service in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, supervising operations, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor. Flexibility with schedule and travel as needed is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Creative thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to ensure items are quickly placed on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms and ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
• Partner with the leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
